Results of the Extraordinary General Meeting of JSC RAO Energy System of East Summed Up

30 November, Khabarovsk. JSC RAO Energy System of East has held its Extraordinary General Meeting. The Meeting elected Sergey Tolstoguzov the Company’s Director General. Sergey Tolstoguzov previously occupied the position of First Deputy Director General and Operations Director of the Company.

Sergey Nikolayevich Tolstoguzov is a professional power engineer. He graduated from the Magnitogorsk Mining and Metallurgy Institute majoring in ‘Power Supply to Industrial, Urban and Agricultural Facilities’. Since February 2011, he worked as Deputy Director General of JSC ‘Technopromexport’. From 2007 to 2011, he was a member of the Management Board in INTER RAO UES where he was responsible for integration and management of the company’s assets. He also occupied executive positions in RAO UES of Russia, Rosenergoatom and JSC ‘Bashkirenergo’.

The Extraordinary General Meeting also approved the new version of the Company’s Articles of Association, corporate documents governing operations of its management and control bodies and Regulations for remuneration and compensation for members of the Board of Directors and members of the Internal Audit Committee of JSC RAO Energy System of East.

The Meeting dismissed the members of the Company’s Board of Directors before the expiry of their office term and elected new members of the Board of Directors, including:

  • Seppo Juha REMES

The shareholders dismissed the members of the Company’s Internal Audit Committee before the expiry of their office term and elected new members of the Company’s Internal Audit Committee as follows:

  • Nadezhda Borisovna MAKSIMOVA
  • Ivan Ivanovich CHIGIRIN
  • Konstantin Vladimirovich BABAYEV
  • Olga Vladimirovna ROKHLINA
